Rare Candy (dp4-102) is an Item Trainer card from the Great Encounters expansion that speeds up evolution. It lets you choose a Basic Pokémon in play and immediately place a Stage 1 or Stage 2 card from your hand that evolves from it, counting as an evolution. This card is commonly used to accelerate board development by skipping intermediate evolution turns.
