Vendor Tools consignment is a hands-off eBay channel for singles and sealed: you submit a shipment, we receive and photograph, then list and manage the sale. You follow every line in your private dashboard and request payout after the buyer's payment clears.

How consignment works
One consignment can include many lines (cards or sealed). Each line keeps its own condition, sale preference, and status.
Create in Vendor Tools
Sign in, open the consignment flow, name your batch, and add lines from our catalog (or custom descriptions). Choose auction vs Buy It Now where rules allow.
Ship to us
Pack securely and send using the reference we give you. Tracking keeps both sides aligned while goods are in transit.
We list on eBay
After intake we photograph, write titles, and publish to eBay. You can watch status move from processing to live, with links out to each listing.
Sold & paid out
When a sale completes and payment clears, your balance updates. You request payout on your timeline (see payout window below).

Example fee math (not a quote)
Our fee is 5% of net proceeds after eBay final value fees and applicable taxes. If a lot hammers at £120 and eBay + taxes take roughly £18 (illustrative), net is £102. Five percent of that is £5.10 to Vendor Tools—you keep the rest per payout rules. Real eBay fees vary by category and promotions.
Listing rules
- Under £500: sold via auction.
- £500 and above: auction or Buy It Now—your choice when you set the line up.
- Optional scheduled auction start (specific weekday) can incur a small per-unit fee when we receive the goods—shown before you confirm.
Fees
5% of net sale proceeds after marketplace fees and taxes. No surprise success fee on top of eBay—just the agreed consignment percentage on what's left after the marketplaces take their cut.
Payouts
Request payout within 24 hours after the buyer's payment has cleared. Your dashboard shows pending balance, credits, and any scheduled fees (e.g. auction start options) in one place.
Rolling out the full workflow
We're extending intake automation, payout self-serve, and richer analytics. The public page already shows real consignment lines as they go live and sell; your signed-in dashboard is private to your account only.
Common questions
Is consignment the same as marketplace inventory?▼
No. Marketplace listings ship from your own stock and checkout on Vendor Tools. Consignment means you send goods to us; we list on eBay on your behalf and reconcile sales back to you.
What if you disagree with my condition call?▼
We can open a condition review: you see our proposed grade or raw condition, respond in-thread, and we only publish the listing once both sides align (or you withdraw the line).
Do I need an eBay account?▼
You manage everything inside Vendor Tools. We operate the eBay listings as part of the service—you get transparent links and status per line without maintaining your own seller account for these lots.
