It has the Poké-Power Baby Evolution allowing you to evolve it into Pikachu from your hand during your turn and heal all damage from Pichu. Its attack Electric Circuit lets you retrieve up to four Lightning Energy cards from your discard pile to your hand, supporting energy recovery for Lightning decks.
