Potion Energy (base5-82 First Edition) is a Special Energy from the Rocket set that provides Colorless Energy but does not count as a basic Energy. If you play it from your hand and attach it, you remove one damage counter from the Pokémon it’s attached to, giving a small on-play healing effect. It serves as both an energy source and minor recovery option, useful in decks that need nonbasic energy while gaining occasional damage mitigation.
