It resolves by flipping two coins: two heads discards all Energy from the Defending Pokémon, two tails discards all Energy from your Active Pokémon, and one head/one tail does nothing. The effect is high variance and can be used as a disruption tool but carries risk of self-harm on unlucky flips.
