Sméagol, Helpful Guide (PLTR 231s foil) is a legendary creature card printed in the Tales of Middle-earth Promos set that is a Halfling Horror. Its end step trigger tempts The Ring if a creature you controlled died this turn, and whenever the Ring tempts you it mills an opponent until they reveal a land card and you put that land tapped onto the battlefield under your control. The card interacts with an emblem and a chosen Ring-bearer through the Ring mechanic, enabling ongoing card-effects and choices that grow over the game.
