Obscura Interceptor (SNC 209) is a rare three-power Octopus Wizard creature from Streets of New Capenna. It has flash and lifelink and a triggered enter-the-battlefield effect that causes it to connive and can return a target spell to its owner’s hand when it connives. Its connive ability can draw-and-discard to grow it with a +1/+1 counter if a nonland card is discarded, creating hand filtering and incremental growth while interacting with opponents’ spells.
