Its activated ability lets you pay 1, tap it, and sacrifice a creature to search your library for a creature card with exactly one more color than the sacrificed creature, exile it, then you may cast that card immediately and shuffle. The card enables color-based toolboxing and creature-upgrade lines by converting a sacrificed creature’s color count into a targeted search for a different multi-colored creature.
