Blot Out (MAT 62) is a black uncommon instant from the March of the Machine: The Aftermath set. When it resolves, the targeted opponent must exile the creature or planeswalker they control that has the greatest mana value among those they control. The spell forces that opponent to choose and exile the highest mana-value permanent among creatures and planeswalkers, which can remove a problematic threat regardless of single-target protections like hexproof if it still qualifies as the greatest mana value.
