Blot Out (MAT 12) is a black instant from March of the Machine: The Aftermath that forces the targeted opponent to exile one of the creatures or planeswalkers they control with the greatest mana value. The spell targets only the opponent and resolves by examining all creatures and planeswalkers that opponent controls to choose and exile the highest mana value permanent. This card functions as a conditional removal tool that can hit planeswalkers as well as creatures and is useful for answering a single high-impact permanent.
