Ayara's Oathsworn (MAT-157) is a black Human Knight creature from March of the Machine: The Aftermath. It has menace and a triggered ability that, when it deals combat damage to a player while carrying fewer than four +1/+1 counters, adds a counter and, if that makes it reach exactly four counters, lets you search your library for a card and put it into your hand. The design rewards repeated combat damage or +1/+1-counter synergies to reliably reach the four-counter tutor threshold and generate incremental card advantage.
