Steelix is a Steel/Ground-type Pokémon known for its massive, serpentine body made of rugged steel. It has a long, segmented body with a series of metallic spikes protruding from its back. Its head is large and angular, with a menacing jaw and sharp eyes. Steelix is incredibly durable and can burrow deep into the earth, often dwelling in caves or underground tunnels. It evolves from Onix when traded while holding a Metal Coat. Steelix is known for its high defense and ability to withstand powerful attacks.
