It has the Intimidating Fang Ability which reduces the opponent Active Pokémon's attack damage by 30 while Luxray is Active and an attack, Volt Bolt, that discards all Lightning Energy from Luxray to deal 150 damage to one of the opponent's Pokémon. Its resistance to Metal and Fighting weakness, plus zero retreat cost, affect how it fits into lightning decks and switching strategies.
