Description

Metal Energy (pl2-100 Reverse Holofoil) is a Special Energy card from the Rising Rivals set that provides Metal Energy while not counting as a Basic Energy. While attached to a Metal Pokémon, it reduces damage done to that Pokémon by 10 (after Weakness and Resistance), but the effect is ignored if attached to a non-Metal Pokémon. As a non-basic Energy with a defensive effect, it typically supports Metal-type strategies by both supplying energy and improving survivability.
