Darkness Energy (ex16-87) is a Special Energy card. It provides Darkness Energy and gives the attacking Pokémon a conditional +10 damage bonus only when the attacker is a Darkness type or has "Dark" in its name. It is not a Basic Energy card, so it is treated as a Special Energy for deck construction and card effects.
