Description

Mysterious Fossil (base6-109 Reverse Holofoil) is a Trainer card printed to be played as if it were a Basic Pokémon from the Legendary Collection. While in play it counts as a Pokémon with no attacks, no retreat, immunity to Special Conditions, and can be discarded at any time to allow evolving Pokémon to be placed on it. Its rules permit Pokémon that evolve from the Fossil to be put on the card, making it primarily useful as a staging point for evolution lines rather than an attacker.
