Darkness Energy (hgss3-79) is a Special Energy from HS—Undaunted that provides Darkness Energy but is not a Basic Energy. When attached to a Darkness Pokémon, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon before applying Weakness and Resistance; this bonus is ignored if attached to a non-Darkness Pokémon. It is commonly used to slightly boost offensive damage in decks built around Darkness-type attackers.
