Its Mislead attack can Confuse the Defending Pokémon by flipping two coins, and Ethereal Flame discards all Fire Energy from Ninetales to deal 30 plus 20 more damage per discarded Energy. With a single-colorless retreat and a Water weakness, it functions as an aggressive Fire attacker that can leverage attached Fire Energy for burst damage.
