Unfortunate Accident (OTJ 111) is a black instant from Outlaws of Thunder Junction that uses the Spree mechanic. As cast you choose one or more additional-cost modes, allowing you to pay 2B to destroy a target creature or pay 1 to create a 1/1 red Mercenary token that can tap to give a creature you control +1/+0 until end of turn (sorcery timing for that activation). The card provides flexible removal or token generation depending on which additional costs you pay, enabling both creature control and small aggressive synergies.
