The Key to the Vault (OTJ-54) is a legendary Artifact — Equipment from Outlaws of Thunder Junction. Whenever the equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, you may exile nonland cards from the top of your library equal to that damage and cast one of them without paying its mana cost. It equips for {2}{U} and serves as a value engine by converting combat damage into potential free spells for the controller.
