Explosive Derailment (OTJ 122) is a red instant from the Outlaws of Thunder Junction expansion that features the Spree keyword. When casting it you must choose one or more listed modes and pay their additional costs, allowing you to deal 4 damage to a target creature and/or destroy a target artifact depending on which modes you pay for. The card’s spell follows its listed instructions in order and cannot choose the same mode more than once, so it functions as a flexible removal option in aggressive or tempo red decks.
