Proteus Staff (MB2-140) is a rare artifact from Mystery Booster 2. For {2}{U}, {T} it sends a target creature to the bottom of its owner's library, then that player reveals cards until they reveal a creature and puts that creature onto the battlefield; activate only as a sorcery. The effect can be used as a tempo or control tool by transforming an opponent's creature into a potentially different threat or by enabling synergies that care about creatures entering the battlefield.
