It has an activated ability for {3}, {T} to create a 2/2 blue Shapeshifter token with changeling, which itself is every creature type. The Nexus’s continuous effect interacts with type-based replacement and triggered effects and the tokens retain changeling even if the Nexus leaves the battlefield.
