It taps for colorless mana or can be sacrificed with an additional cost to destroy a target nonbasic land an opponent controls while that opponent may fetch a basic land and you create a Treasure token. Rulings clarify that if the target can't be destroyed (for example, due to indestructible) the opponent still searches for a basic land and you still get the Treasure, but if the target is illegal on resolution the ability doesn't resolve and none of those effects happen.
