Aurora Shifter (M3C-97) is a Rare Creature — Shapeshifter from Modern Horizons 3 Commander. It grants you energy counters equal to combat damage it deals to a player and can pay {E}{E} at the beginning of combat on your turn to become a copy of another creature you control while retaining its energy-triggering ability. As a copy effect that doesn't involve entering the battlefield, it won't copy enter-the-battlefield triggers, and energy is tracked as player counters separate from mana.
