Invasion of Alara // Awaken the Maelstrom (collector 230, foil) is a modal card with a Siege (Battle) front and a five-color sorcery back. The Siege side exiles cards from the top of your library until you exile two nonland cards with mana value 4 or less, letting you cast one of them without paying its mana cost and put the other into your hand. The sorcery back provides multiple powerful effects on resolution, including drawing cards, putting an artifact onto the battlefield, creating a token copy of a permanent you control, distributing three +1/+1 counters, and destroying a target permanent an opponent controls.
