Baral and Kari Zev is a legendary Human creature from the March of the Machine Promos set that combines red and blue. It has first strike and menace and triggers whenever you cast your first instant or sorcery each turn, letting you cast a lower mana value spell of the same card type from your hand for free or create a 2/1 haste First Mate Ragavan token if you don’t. The card functions as a tempo engine for casting additional spells or producing an aggressive creature to pressure opponents.
