Cryptic Gateway (DMR 218, Rare) is an artifact from Dominaria Remastered that costs five mana and has an activated ability requiring you to tap two untapped creatures you control. Its ability lets you put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield if that card shares a creature type with each tapped creature, enabling tribal or combo synergies. The activation can use any untapped creatures you control and is useful for cheating large creatures into play or enabling specific type-based interactions.
