Description

Xanathar, Guild Kingpin (AFR 391) is a legendary creature Beholder from the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set. Its upkeep-trigger lets you choose an opponent and, until end of turn, prevent them from casting spells while allowing you to look at and play the top card of their library and spend mana as any color to cast those spells. The card functions as a control/value finisher by denying an opponent options that turn while turning their top-deck into additional resources for you.
