Description

Xanathar, Guild Kingpin (AFR 239) is a legendary creature — Beholder from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms. At the beginning of your upkeep you choose an opponent and gain multiple effects until end of turn, including preventing that player from casting spells, looking at and playing the top card of their library, and using mana as any color to cast those spells. The card serves a disruptive control role while also potentially granting you access to additional spells and resources from an opponent's deck.
