Kalain, Reclusive Painter (AFR 342 foil) is a legendary creature card combining Black and Red mana and subtypes Human, Elf, and Bard. When it enters the battlefield it creates a Treasure token, and it makes other creatures you control enter with an additional +1/+1 counter for each mana from a Treasure spent to cast them. This card supports Treasure-based ramp and +1/+1 counter synergies, enabling larger creatures or value plays in decks that use artifact tokens and sacrifice outlets.
