Description

Rare Candy (swsh1-180) is a Trainer—Item card from the Sword & Shield expansion. It lets you evolve a Basic Pokémon directly into a Stage 2 from your hand, skipping the Stage 1, with the restriction that it cannot be used on your first turn or on a Basic put into play that turn. The card is commonly used to quickly advance key attackers or tech Pokémon into late-stage forms to enable strategy or surprise evolutions.
