Counter Gain (sv8-169) is an Uncommon Trainer — a Pokémon Tool from the Surging Sparks expansion. It reduces the Colorless energy cost of attacks for the Pokémon it's attached to when you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent. It is attached to one Pokémon that doesn't already have a Tool, and follows normal Tool attachment rules allowing one Tool per Pokémon.
