You may discard a Fire or Fighting basic Energy card attached to Magcargo. If you discard a Fire Energy card in this way, the Defending Pokémon is now Burned. If you discard a Fighting Energy card in this way, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage.

Magcargo (ecard3-18 Reverse Holofoil) is a Stage 1 Fighting-type Pokémon from the Skyridge set. It has the Poké-Power Streaming Mantle which lets you optionally mill three cards and then shuffle three basic Energy from your discard pile into your deck while forcing your opponent to do the same. Its Crushing Lava attack can discard a Fire or Fighting basic Energy for added effects, and its retreat cost and weaknesses make it a middling midgame evolution option.
