It has the Subjugating Chains Ability that can switch a Benched Darkness Pokémon into the Active spot once per turn and Poison the new Active Pokémon, and an attack, Irritated Outburst, that deals 60 damage times the number of Prize cards your opponent has already taken. Its ex status means it yields two Prize cards if Knocked Out, influencing risk-reward and late-game knockout potential.
