Play Mysterious Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play, Mysterious Fossil counts as a Colorless Pokémon (instead of a Trainer card). Mysterious Fossil (ex2-91) is a Trainer—Item from the Sandstorm expansion that you may play as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play it counts as a Colorless Pokémon, has no attacks, cannot retreat, and is immune to Special Conditions. You may discard it from play at any time during your turn before attacking, and if it is Knocked Out it is discarded but does not count as a Knocked Out Pokémon.
