Darkness Energy (ex1-93) is a Special Energy from the Ruby & Sapphire set that provides Darkness Energy but is not a Basic Energy. When attached to an attacking Pokémon that is Darkness or has Dark in its name, it increases that attack's damage by 10 to the opponent's Active Pokémon before Weakness and Resistance. This card is commonly used to both fuel Darkness-type moves and provide a small consistent damage bonus in decks built around Dark Pokémon.
