Rare Candy (xy5-135) is a Trainer — Item card from the Primal Clash expansion that speeds up evolution. It lets you immediately evolve a Basic Pokémon into a Stage 2 from your hand, counting as an evolution but cannot be used on the first turn or on a Pokémon put into play that turn. The card enables decks that aim to skip Stage 1 and rapidly deploy powerful Stage 2 attackers or techs.
