Thundurus-EX (bw9-38, Yugo Sato) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon-EX from the Plasma Freeze expansion. Raiden Knuckle attaches an Energy from your discard pile to one of your Benched Team Plasma Pokémon, and Thunderous Noise deals 90 damage and can discard an Energy from the Defending Pokémon if Thundurus-EX has a Plasma Energy attached. Being an EX, it surrenders two Prize cards when knocked out, which affects its use in aggressive or energy-recycling strategies.
