Superior Energy Retrieval (bw9-103, Jacob Van Wagner variant) is an Item Trainer from the Plasma Freeze expansion. To play it you must discard two cards from your hand, then return up to four basic Energy cards from your discard pile to your hand, with the restriction that you cannot choose energies discarded by this effect. It suits decks that can tolerate hand discard and want to rapidly reload multiple Pokémon with basic Energy.
