Rare Candy is a Trainer Item card. It lets you place a Stage 2 card from your hand directly onto a qualifying Basic Pokémon, counting as that Pokémon’s evolution and skipping Stage 1. It cannot be used on your first turn or on a Basic that was put into play that same turn.
