Its Night Attack places three damage counters on an opponent's Pokémon while Dark Corridor deals 60 damage, poisons the Active Pokémon, and forces Gengar-EX to switch with a Benched Pokémon. Those effects and the poison/switch synergy lend it to hit-and-run or status-based roles in Psychic or EX-focused decks.
