To play it you must discard a Basic Fire Energy from your hand, then discard either a Pokémon Tool or a Special Energy attached to one of your opponent's Pokémon, or discard the Stadium in play. The card also notes that you may play any number of Item cards during your turn, so it is not restricted by supporter-style limits.
