Rare Candy (me1-125) is a Trainer—Item card from the Mega Evolution set. It lets you evolve a Basic Pokémon directly into a Stage 2 from your hand, skipping the Stage 1 with the usual timing restrictions. The card is commonly used to accelerate board development and can be played any turn after the first, subject to the rule about Pokémon put into play that turn.
