It lets you choose a Basic Pokémon in play and put a Stage 1 or Stage 2 that evolves from it from your hand onto that Basic, counting as an evolution. This card is typically used to accelerate an evolution line by skipping the normal Stage 1 step when you have the appropriate evolution in hand.
