Giovanni's Magikarp (gym2-73) is a Basic Water–type Pokémon from the Gym Challenge expansion printed as Unlimited common. It has two attacks: Ancestral Memory, a once-only single Water-cost attack that either deals 40 or fails on a coin flip and cannot be reused while this card stays in play, and Flail Around, a Water+Colorless attack that flips three coins to deal 10 damage per heads. Its competitive role is primarily as a low-cost attacker or early-game contact with high variance due to coin flips and a single retreat cost and Lightning weakness.
