Buffer Piece (ex3-83) is a Pokémon Tool Trainer from the Dragon expansion. When attached to a Pokémon that has no Tool, it reduces damage from an opponent's attack by 20 and is discarded at the end of your opponent's next turn or if the host is Knocked Out. Its short-lived effect makes it best used as a one-time protective buffer to soak an expected attack.
