Description

Buffer Piece (ex15-72) is a Pokémon Tool Trainer card printed as the Jeremy Scharff variant. It attaches to one of your Pokémon that has no other Pokémon Tool and reduces damage from an opponent's attack by 20, then is discarded if that Pokémon is Knocked Out or at the end of your opponent's next turn after you played it. Because the protection is temporary, the card is primarily used as a short-term defensive option rather than a lasting support piece.
