Description

Blastoise & Piplup-GX (sm12-214 Holofoil) is a Water-type Basic TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX from the Cosmic Eclipse set. Its main attack, Splash Maker, lets you attach up to three Water Energy cards from your hand to your Pokémon and heal 50 damage from those Pokémon for each Energy attached this way, while its GX attack, Bubble Launcher-GX, paralyzes the opponent's Active Pokémon and can deal significantly more damage if the TAG TEAM has at least three extra Water Energy attached. The card carries the TAG TEAM knockout penalty (opponent takes 3 Prize cards) and has a retreat cost of three Colorless Energy, a Grass weakness ×2, and no resistances.
