Metapod (base4-81) is a Grass Stage 1 Pokémon card from Base Set 2 illustrated by Ken Sugimori. It has two attacks: Stiffen can prevent all damage to Metapod during your opponent's next turn on a successful coin flip, and Stun Spore deals 20 damage and can Paralyze the Defending Pokémon on heads. With a ×2 weakness to Fire and a two Colorless retreat cost, it functions more as a defensive, status-inflicting option than an aggressive attacker.
